Algoma Venture Academy Enrollment
Application and attendance at Algoma Venture Academy is completely voluntary and no tuition is charged. Students who do not secure a spot at AVA are still eligible to attend their district-determined public school or open-enroll into an alternate school of choice public school when the proper procedure is followed as determined by each district.

Lottery Admission Process
If submissions exceed spots available, we will admit students based on a public lottery after the application window closes. A waiting list will be maintained for students who are not selected in the random lottery. Students on the waiting list will also go through the above-noted lottery process in order to be contacted and offered admission into Algoma Venture Academy.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- Returning students and/or siblings of currently enrolled students a Algoma Venture Academy will have first priority of enrollment.
- Students may enroll and attend AVA by the first day of the fall and spring semester so long as space permits in accordance with the AVA lottery procedures and waitlist guidelines.
- All new applicants will make up a lottery poll and a random selection process will take place by a computer application.
- Students who do not secure a spot at Algoma Venture Academy are still eligible to attend their district-determined public school, or open-enroll into an alternate school of choice when the proper procedure is followed as determined by each district.
